Just fitted my Simxperience actuator cover and damper kit last night and whilst it makes a great difference to the ride it's so much more noisy than previously. The increased noise is definately from the rubber dampers in the actuator covers, does this mean I need to tighten it up more or can I use something like dry lubricant?
Thought I'd ask here as I'm sure many use the dampers from Simxperience :)

The dampers are not necessary , you lose car's information with the dampers. So remove it, if they do some noise...

@ museumsteve - As you've noted, the dampening helps the motion to feel more fluid and therefore more realistic. It removes the digital feel.

The cover and dampening kit shouldn't make any noise at all. You may want to douoble check the assembly or try tightening them a little more. The four rubber pieces should be under some tension for this type of dampener. There really shouldn't be any need for lubricant.

I don't always manage to catch posts on other forums, so you may be better to ask the customer support folks if you need a quick reply.
