    hello,
    I patched the game but my sim does not move.
    I changed the line. <motion enabled = "True" ip = "127.0.0.1" port = "4123" delay = "1" extradata = "0" /> this is ok? the software starts up but no movement

    Hi @vulbas
    There come two different files "hardware_settings_config.xml" with Dirt:
    1. in C:\Programs\DiRT 3\system. That's the wrong one ;)
    2. in C:\Users\"vulbas"\Documents\My Games\DiRT3\hardwaresettings. That's the right one.
    Did you patch the second file?

    it does not work
    i patch C:\Users\sebjeux\Documents\My Games\DiRT3 and that's ok, but simlator don't move :(

    Try to disable Firewall and Antivirus. And try to run SimTools with "administrator" rights

    Open the system tray (bottom right corner) and right-click on the Game Engine icon.

    There will be a list with Tuning Centre and Settings. Click on both to open both windows.

    Check you axis settings in the GameEngine.
    Select Dirt3 from the Game List and load All Out from the Presets.
    Click on Save Settings.

    When the game runs and GameManager and GameEngine run, you should see data in the Tuning Centre, "Game Running" in the GameManager and "Axis Assignments" and "Interface Settings" blued-out

    yes it turns blue. the simulator moves into position. but there is no info that moves in tunning center.

    Sorry, I missed that but you need to have *some* interface setting in the GameEngine.
    Something like this:

    Any version of Dirt3 will work. It might be useful, if you share your settings for Dirt3 as well like you did for Wings of Prey.

    @vulbas , try completely uninstalling dirt3, deleting the files out of "my games" folder , the dirt3 ones that is. Then try re-install, teh play a few races static to create some saved games.
    Also with dirt3 plug in , try deleting it from simtools game engine folder the plugins live in, the re-install the WHOLE zipped plugin.
    The re-patch the game.
    It does work as I have run genuine and cracked versions of the game on Win 7, 32 and 64 bit pcs.
