    Hello everybody,

Since a two year I have build a 3DOF-simulator which you can see here:

I use x-sim and a VM140 to drive the system along with a PLC. After taking a look into Simtools I see that the VM140 is not supported (which I understand). But the arduino uno is supported and used to drive DC-motors. In my setup I use invertors that drive AC-motors. Unfortunately this is not directly usable with an arduino.

But is it possible to convert an axis of simtools to a PWM-signal of the arduino uno? This signal can than be converted to an analogue voltage which can be used to drive the invertors. If this is possible can this also be done with an arduino mega (this board has more than 5 PWM-outputs).

    Thanks in advance,
    Bart

    My Motion Simulator:
2DOF, DC motor, JRK, SimforceGT, 6DOF
VM140 - K8061 control is coming to SimTools it's on my project list to complete , coding very simular to the little on K8055.
So given a little push and I don't own one to test with , I could probably produce a test app in a week or so.
