    firstinflight,
Good to have you on board...........as this is the best motion sim forum in the business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been into flight sim since 2000............and now using P3d...................
I started my motion sim platform here about 16 months ago, primarily for flight, but since then, have really been hooked on the race sim culture with AC & pCars...........so, I'm in process of
    making my platform do both.................

My sim platform has been finished for several months now, and I am waiting for two Opt-PCB boards, being made by a super member here.....(I'm ignorant in electronics)...........and then
    I can "make her move"..............

You'll find the nicest and most educated folks here who are eager to help those who work hard to get into they're own motion sim..............and in all areas of expertise.....

In summary, I was very blessed to have found this site about three years ago........as this forum is the whole reason I built mine...........just the assurances and help made it all happen.

    Many blessings

    Tom

Thanks Tom. I have to say that in the many forums I am a part of, this must be the warmest welcome I have received.

Yu are right, the community does play a significant role in helping you keep at it.
I have built 4 gens of my fixed base jet sim and each time it got more complex. Help was always one post away.

In just 4-5 hours of joining this community I was able to install the software, download LFS, have the setup complete, turn on the virtual axis - in fact begin calibrating and learning how the DOFs translate to the various Axis.

My Arduino Uno will be here tomorrow. I have multiple servos from my RC hobby that I plan on using to build a prototype.

    Thanks much for the welcome.

    Regards,
    firstinflight
