    hi all

slight moan on the fov for iracing in car dash is huge :-(
my wheel is like 400mm on screen.

i have 3x 50" screens and i can not pull seat back far enough once ive set the fov, if i go to the camera ctrl f12 it stops and all i see is a stupid seat sides in my side screens.

also the in car cam is far too bouncy driving the car any one know what i can do.

i will be happy with th bouncing to stop but if cn get abit smaller wheel even better.

i am also rendering all screens.
if i take that off i can do what i want to do but side screens are warped looking and rubbish.

    many thanx

you need to change your POV not FOV.

thats what ive been doing set the fov then the pov but when i go back with the pov with the seat then the seat is shown on the screen to the side.
i can not see the mirror on one side either because the seat is in the way like its me going back not the seat? so its like i go further into the seat not the seat moving.
as my fov recommended setting is 175 it will only let me move seat a small amount.
i will try again tomorrow tho .

i will try get a screen shot tomoz i think.

,maybe you need to change(less than 175FOV). the physical angle of your monitors a little... To bring POV parameters close to your likes.

    You are right.

    POV setting depends on FOV.

yeah pov is not the same as fov but if i try to trick the setting for the monitors i get the same thing will keep playing later see what i find. just annoying when its perfectly fine on assetto corsa. spent ages finding the right for both fov and pov. i expected the same thing from iracing tbh, as project cars is ok too to get right. its the bouncy car movement i really don't like it way to much in cam movement.

also other issues is my screens are as far out as i can go so can only come in. i think they 65degs

I have soved the issue there is nothing in iracing to play with like I can in assetto for view settings it seems assetto has more to that part to play with each thing for a more personal setup.
its ok tho with the wheel turned off.

just so you get an idea of the size using 50" screen the wheel was 800mm not 400mm lol
it looks ok tho without the 800mm wheel it was 400mm in my assetto settings.
