    The illumination is not that great at "Up to 300 Lumens", so I guess its worth depends on your use case.

    For the price it is pretty decent especially the HD resolution, You'd have to use it in a pretty dark room to get the most out of it.

    EDIT: HOLY BUTTMUNCH! It's closer to being double the price from ebay, even kogan is selling it for $900.

    The lamp life is pretty impressive! But yeah, the lumens are way too low for my liking. I am using a Panasonic AE8000 with 2400 lumens (for watching movies, not on the sim) and I still need a dark room to get the most out of it.
