    Guys,

Long time not playing with my motion rig, glad to be back! 8)

I love to go up and down hill at Green Hell (AKA Nurburgring Nordschleife http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nürburgring), it is really relaxing... The better version of this track that I know of is the one from GTR Evolution.
And, it got even better now with Race ON and the Formula Masters open wheel.

So, I decided to make this profile, started with Bernard's one and few things remained the same as his profile was made for GTRs...
I included pitch, which gives a really nice sensation on this track! Really fun!
All ranges were adjusted for the track.
It is tweaked to my motion platform, tho.
So, it may not fell the same on a frex style, be aware.

Look at the video to have an idea on how it is working for me... I really like it, wish I knew more about profile making to improve it... But, it is good as is for now...
It does not show a full lap, which is almost 7min with this car, I removed all long straights to try to shorten it a bit.

    Hope you guys enjoy it!

Thanks for sharing, Erick  !

I've tested your profile yesterday and recognized some heave short shocks... I have to get my sim better dampened. This effect doesn't occur in Bernard's profile pack, I still don't know why... I also already tested different values for acceleration and speed in the SCN5 settings.

I've written some more details - especially regarding the uphill and downhill effects (which I'm enjoying very much in your profile !) - in Bernard's thread: http://www.x-simulator.de/forum/simxperience-profile-pack-for-x-sim-2-1-0-4-t2089-10.html - maybe we can discuss it there...

    Thanks and bye,
    Chris

    Ok! Chris,

    Thanks for the feedback.

It is really hard to compare with different rig designs.
I feel a different profile behavior even if I have it running on the same PC of the game or a separate one (dedicated to Profiler2)...

    Cheers,

    MY

    Hi Erick,

again my feedback: I used your profile today again for a few rounds on the Nordschleife (Evo, not RaceOn) and I like the movements very much ! After dampening my simulator better and more, every movement is just much smoother and more realistic. I'm now able to use values for SCN5 speed and acceleration @ 22000 and 500 !

Please let me know, why you are only fixing the SCN5 values in the synaptrix settings and not in the interface settings ? Or do we mean the same section ? I'm only using the interface settings section, whenever I'm testing different values for my SCN5s !

I even take your profile for the WTCC Extreme - not only for Open Wheelers... 8)

As far as I have tested, the Synaptrix will always override the Plugin settings.
If you didn't clear the Synaptrix on this profile, you should still be using the values I set there.

Thank you MY for the profile i finally had time to test it properly ...its very good and smooth! i like the feel of difference in road level, especially on the green hell :)
This will be one of my standard profiles! I tested it with Gtrevo and a GT-Pro car on the green hell.

    Regards,

    Rob

Nice vid/setup. I prefer smoother setups as well.

The green hell is perhaps the worlds most demanding racetrack ever.
Unfortunatly Simbin admitted that they had to cut some road surface details (bumps etc.), as the track would have been too performance demanding.
Perhaps it will be more detailed and demanding, when the average joe' pc is equipped with 64bit hardware...

Nevertheless, try it with a car with less downforce. Driving it in an open wheeler is almost cheating :D

Or try the factory cars...especially the ccx, if you can do a lap without crashing.....

    I agree...
If you want to relax, low power open wheel car.
If you want to stress, high power touring, GT, DTM, any shoe box that doesn't make turns... LOL

    Cheers,

This profile is very good, though i would like to adjust it for other cars/tracks. A bit more side-to-side travel and acc./braking and less hill effects. can i do that by changing the percents of the effects? and what is witch effect? sorry for my noobness but i still struggling with the understanding of profiles.

    EDIT:

Thanks to the slider function of the new X-Sim, i now know what effect is what (you can disable a math section, i only use the sliders for that) and adjusted to my flavor. When i fix my actuators properly i will post an edited profile of masteryoda's one. With more acc./braking and turning effects.

    Regards
