    Hi!

We want to show you our first motion sim project based on ckas platform.
We decided to use 2 axes controlled by Arduino from this thread: http://www.xsimulator.net/community...3dof-motor-driver-and-windows-utilities.4957/ (big thanks for all who helps to improve this solution!)

We use servomotors from mitsubishi with 400W 3000 rpm motors 1.3nm with gear motors I:100(we know that 100 is too much but we have those gears in stock from dismantling, target I=25/30, any advice will be helpful)

Here are picture of current state of the project:

At now we have connected both servo amplifiers and we can steering it by SMC3 program. Next step is to take control from sim tools and it is time to study manuals because we haven't any experience with it:)

Today I also put some 3d models of concept, big thanks for great helpful work on forum and pm:)

    Regards

my question is how to setup sim tool axis assignments, which forces I must put into each DOF? Could anybody make and show me example settings for my engine location and fixation?

Can you rebuild the gearbox? That constant noise would drive me nuts:sos

gear box will be replaced but at now we don't know for which sort of, maybe worm gear with less play/lack or maybe planetary geat but it is expensive about 500$.

Also after make a wedge shaft tighter terrible noice is much reduced
