    Hi guys,

So without the motors connect I can see in SMC3 that if I move the POT left or right the green line will go up or down. when I follow the the steps of the tutorial for Arduino step five i set everything at 0 then i got step 6 and set the values and I see the lines setting them selves and the positions they should be. then I plug the motor 1 and nothing should which is the case. i set the kp at 400, and slowly increase the PWMAX but nothing is moving from motor 1, I did the same thing with motor 2 and same result. what am i doing wrong?

Hard telling from just this. Screen shots of your settings is a good start and pictures of the wiring might help. You could check with a multimeter at the motor to see if any voltage is present.

Is the pot connected to the motor?

In that case please post pictures of all of your settings and wiring.
