Well here's the start of my motion sim we'll the electronics part anyways.
    I have sourced
    2 x 520W electric wheelchair motors
    2 x IBT2 motor drivers
    1 x arduino uno 3
    1 x 1200W 24V SMPS power supply.
I may have to go down the route of batteries if the psu isn't man enough for the job right now. But appears to be working on the bench for the moment. Pic attached.

Hopefully I can get onto the frame soon I have a static motion rig I may butcher or start from scratch with design cues from the DOF reality P3 as I like the compactness of the unit.

I also need to come up with a decent way of mounting the pots to the motor spindles.

    Cheers

Well it's been far to long with so many other projects. But I had some time of work so here's what I've come up with so far

I've made a start on the electronics too will add some more pictures to the post once I've wired it all in.

Edit. High voltage wired in just starting on the dc wiring and signal stuff now. Can't wait to test the rig.

So I got a 3d printer and have been busy making holders for my hall effect pots and got them all mounted to the motors. Really happy with the finish on this part. 20240301_173809.jpg

This will protect the hall effect wiring one fused on.

All mounted to the motors and working sweet
