Hi, Im just somebody trying to make a 2DOF rig for fun. I want it to be as cheap as possible for now, just so I can see if I can do it. I want to use two windshield wiper motors, but I don't know how that will turn out and what I should get. Also, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips for doing this for cheap. Thank you!

@Jer if you can find these (lots of them on Alibaba) you won't go too far wrong for a wiper motor. ZD1735 180watt 12 volt bus or truck wiper motor.

Thank you! I was also wondering whether wheelchair motors would work better and easier?

Many others have used wheelchair motors successfully, and you can search for projects that have to check out the results.
