Hi I started planning my first motion sim.
I'm living in a apartment so the compact seat shaker seems a better choice for me.

During my research I've seen people mounting the motor in the front or rear of the U joint, what are the pros and cons?

Just ordered one motor (24V 300W 60rpm with 24nm) , potentiometer, power supply and Arduino to see if i can make it work.
and If motion seat is actually my thing, i might mount my whole setup on the 2dof rack, but sure that will take up a lot of space.

thanks for the reply, i tried the program before

Just a strange thing crossing my mind:
did anyone use pulleys on motion systems? what's the disadvantage of it?
the pulling spring required on the other side will offset the advantage of it?
