Question 3DOF Motion Rig with XPlane 12

    I am setting up a 3DOF motion rig with XPlane 12 as a school project, and am having trouble getting XPlane and the motion setup to communicate. I have already configured and set up the hardware and software for the motion setup, and have confirmed that the computer can control the setup, but I am struggling to get XPlane to work with the motion setup. I have gone into XPlane and set up the port and everything. Sometimes when I start up XPlane it works for just a moment, or moves randomly, and then stops working. Any ideas on what I should try next?
