so i whant to build an racing motion sim with traction loss. Now the problem is that i dont have any skills in welding in any software or hardware but i whant to begin with my sim. So my first idé was to buy a playseat with t300rs bundle or I can buy the fanatec clubsport v 2 servo also but its sold out and i dont have an invitation IF someone has IT or if its necesary to buy that instead of t300rs. I tought if i buy the playseat i get the sim rig also. Something like @Erwan960 but in his post they are no picture of how he did his system or i couldent find IT :(
    Budget $$$$ No more then 3000 $$$$
    And i live in Sweden
    Sorry for My English

Hello @Lucian , no worries, take a look through the threads for drift frame builds and remember, not all of us have EXACT details builds, but if you read the thread and THEN ask questions , you will get the answer.
Ok control boards, then, Id suggest the Pololu JRK 12v12, no code to write, 7 wires, one usb, heatsink on big chip and fan cooling , simple PID commands and motor commands and you are off. One board per motor.
for reference to a 3DOF drift build, look here http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/2dof-to-3dof-diy-seat-mover.5271/ and yes he gets to drift later in the threads.
If you start a new thread with your existing frame describing what you would like to do, once we see photos, we can advise further.
Its feasible to build a drift frame sim under $3000, just some planning and setting up.
I recall @RufusDufus built a seat mover with drift from MDF and hardly any metal parts. So lack of welding is not an issue.
I built a PVC full frame 2 DOF ages ago. Granted the PVC cost more than steel, but it was cut and put together in less than 2 hours and a heck of a lot lighter than steel.
The only welding I had to do for that, was a uni joint tailshaft cut to size as the pivot. But as a seat mover, a steering knuckle from a larger car or small truck would do just fine.
    Hope that helps a bit.
    Dave.

I forgot to mention i dont whant to put that steering knuckle because i whant my seat to be in straight position when i seat on it or when i dont use it i whant IT to be stif when i get in it.
the frame Will be playseat evolution then with the t300rs

so what do you plan to use as a pivot then?
You need a pivot for the frame to lean with.
If you dont want a pivot, you cannot build a DOF frame of any sort.
You are obviously after looks more than functionality.

You need some kind of pivot under the seat / frame if you want to go with cheaper DIY simulator solutions like seat mover or frame mover..

Otherwise, no pivot => D-BOX style or AC motors for 3DOF/6DOF => much more money

You should also take it easier with buying stuff, maybe research some more, ask questions, give answers about what you want.. You don't want to end up spending a lot of money on things you won't actually need..

@Lucian , I have shown them on the photos, the brackets and lever on the motor are custom, meaning you have to modify an existing brackets or get something cut to size.
