    Hello,
What do you think would be the best quality / price ratio choice for a 6DOF.
Primarily for use under DCS and FS2020.
    The budget must remain reasonable.
    Thanks.

That is a loaded question and very subjective, without a lot more context and criteria, you have not even specified a budget or any design preference or criteria!

I can only give a personal view that in terms of building an actuator or rotary powered 6DOF, in terms of ease of setup Vs performance Vs cost I would go with @Thanos servo controller: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/amc-aasd15a-servo-controller.351/

Then select suitable planetary gearboxes, build my own actuators, or use commercial off the shelf actuators, depending on budget and design decisions.

    Hi,

It's true I didn't give a lot of details. The use is mainly in VR, so no need for triple screens, I am looking for something compact (140 * 180cm on the ground) and I would prefer actuators rather than motors (but this is not an obligation) for a reasonable budget I mean about 5k € for the platform. For the rest I must be able to manage.

Some time spent researching to firm up your criteria would be a really good idea, it costs nothing but will save you heaps in terms of cost, build time and frustration.
