    Hey guys,

as we have almost 500 members currently, I thought it would be worth trying to ask for help with the stewart algorithm.
We would like to integrate it as an additional plugin into X-Sim, to make the X-Sim software even more versatile.

We've started to talk about it in this thread, but unfortunatly it has not been developed further since long time.
Someone here who is able to help?

    Regards
    Christian

Not sure if anybody is still monitoring this thread ?

Has any more work been done on this ? I might be willing to have a go, but I need to build my 3DOF platform first, and appropriate pit on top - sounds like a couple of years ?

    thanks
    Tim

Another promising 6DOF project you find here:
    new-6dof-stewart-platform-for-a-school-project-t1622-40.html

However, there are still developers searched who are able to develope 6DOF algorithms for a x-sim plugin

But i think that´s nothing that can be done between lunchbreak, neither for a professional programmer. :)

Let's bump this thread to the top!

I am also very interested in such a plugin! Robin already made the 6DOF Master program, I think it would be very easy from now to integrate it into the Force Profiler.

I would love to see the same geometry controls (with more understandable lengths and base/platform dimensions) and the 3D animation. Also a customizable axis input, and USO output for the 6 servos would be very nice!
