A big thank you to all you helpful guys who have helped me get my motion platform flight sim working with SimTools and Arduiono board. I now have IL-2 Sturmovic flying with all four of my dof working great. I attach three short video clips of sim in action. I am sure the motions look very tame from outside, but I can assure you when you are in there flying the motions feel pretty good. I have flown a light aircraft several times and the feelings generated by moving the controls is as good as you could get in a sim compact enough to fit into my cosy study. Apologies for the rather congested appearance, not really practicable to move the sim to a less cluttered area.

I did not use Roll from SimTools as this does not give a realistic feeling in a flight sim. It is too delayed and goes bananas when going over the top of a roll. For Roll motion I used the direct movement of the control column from side to side. This gives a very satisfactory feeling. Now for Cliffs of Dover and DCS World...

In fact CloD works fine, except Airspeed comes out of Extra 3 not Extra 2 and I have not worked out what is coming out of Extra 2, I thought it might be Shake Levels, but it does not increase with shake increasing in game.

Anyway, thanks a million for all your help. I am truly delighted with the SimTools software.

Hi, Hugso!!! Goog job, buddy. Very good sim.

And what about CloD? In this video you can see AirSpeed in the Extra2 slot. And Shake Level (not big value)

Can you make the same video from your PC with CloD plugin works?

Hey Hypo, how about you update your thread over on the Eagle Dynamics forum and let people know about SimTools?

Flying with Cliffs of Dover today. All works well but, as I said, Airspeed comes out of Extra 3 and I cannot figure what is coming out of Extra 2. I attach a video of flight. Sorry for really poor quality, but it is the best I can do. I hope you can see that the values coming in with Tuning Centre for Extra 3 are in 300 and up and not the single figures as in your vid. This correlates nicely with airspeed and drop to zero when I managed to land and came to a stop. In the vid I start off flying level and gradually pull back to vertical and I then stall and build up speed again. Sorry for poor flying, but I am doing this standing outside the cockpit standing on my virtual wing and leaning in with one hand. Before I did this I uninstalled my Patch and downloaded CloD Plugin v. 3.0.0.9 and re-installed.

Hmm... I don't understand what's wrong . May be Its happens because you use MOD of CloD (instead original CloD as I use)? Or you fly another mission? Can you try with Single Mission "Free hunt"?

I was using single missions, just double checked with "Free Hunt". It is as I said, values in Extra 3 are in the 300s when flying. Everything works fine. I have all the available motions with my sim, feels great. Using Extra 3 for Airspeed works fine. I use Team Fusion's MOD as it makes it so much better. It seems strange if this affected the outputs. Sorry to give you a puzzle. I am more than happy to keep things as they are, I have been waiting for years to have my sim working with this game, you have no idea how pleased I am. Thank you so much for the amazing SimTools.

The team fusion MOD has no effect on SimTools output, just FYI.

Sorry for the confusion, what I mean is that the plugin works the same with vanilla CLoD and the TeamFusion MOD for CLoD.

UPS. Not become clearer.:nerd Unfortunately I have no mods of the game. Can somebody explain to me - whether all mod's are you equally with the plugin? :sos

Sorry Prilad, I am not understanding what you are asking. It might be a translation issue...

What do you mean by "whether all mod's are you equally with the plugin?" Do you mean "Are all mod's working equally with the plugin?"?

There is only one MOD for CLoD that we are discussing. It is the TeamFusion mod for CLoD, which fixes many of the graphic glitches, multiplayer issues, etc. But there is no change in the telemetry information given by the game so the plugin would work the same regardless of whether you have the TeamFusion MOD installed or not.
