This is what has been keeping me busy the last week or so. My wife decided that I should make a Tardis (go watch an episode of Dr. WHo if you do not know what a Tardis is) book case for my daughter for christmas.

It is not complete but close enough until I get time to finish it next week.

    Still to do:

Finish the top to include the rest of the trim and bubble light.

Make shelves (DoH! I forgot those when I was cutting my plywood).

The phone box on the left door.

    Door handle and lock.

    Backlighting

Arduino and MP3 shield with speaker to play Dr. Who soundtrack when the doors are opened.

I found the "how to" on the internet at Instructables.com

I thought about mounting it in front of a door leading into our upstairs library and decorating that like the interior of the Tardis. I doubt my wife would go for that though. :)

I wonder if Photobucket has their servers located near here? We are having the storm of the decade (according to the weather service).

All is good here. We live in the country and are used to adverse weather. We have backup generators, we heat with wood as our primary (and a modern forced air system as our secondary) and are well provisioned.
