    hi,

after gathering the info for the arduino code and the power supplies in this post :
    https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...tuator-to-4dof-ibt2-24v-brushed-motors.18386/
about 2-3 weeks for it to happen.

I still have a lot of information and pages to read on the different subjects here, but I'm already starting to consider how it works.

so I started to think about implementing the actuators. It will probably make DIY brackets since it is a 6mm groove, you have to test the screws and nuts. as a base it is absolutely not intended to be assembled like that, I still do not guarantee the feasibility and I will adapt gradually.. So this post is made to show the progress that will be made by taking his time…
and the photos that go with it ;)

so here is where I am still at for now based on a 2dof for the moment.

the first tests gave too much movement. This is why I decided to put the cylinders directly on the chassis. The most annoying thing is to fix them because the stripes do not correspond to the aluminum profiler.

so here is my progress for the moment, I still have everything to do on the cylinders, the potentiometers which I will put in linear with the key door system like here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1926226

and of course, finish the endstops but I don't know if I will cut the signal from the potentiometer or cut the current with 40 A relays, I will start with the simplest for the tests.

the next points to resolve will be precisely with the weight of the chassis. The tutors will go down and leave the locker and go to the stop signs. So for the restart. Every time it's going to be a bit annoying. I haven't solved this problem yet or figured out how to solve it, but it won't be long, that's where I am. Thank you. Good day hug:

Well, it's actually hard to get information.
    :D
I dont have respons for this:
50A high power ideal diode for 9-70V controller feedback charger protection
    https://fr-m.banggood.com/50A-High-...ll-Protection-9-70V-Controller-p-1876609.html

But I'm still going to order them because I think it can be beneficial to protect the power supply. Let there be no return.

Today I wanted to assemble a complete cylinder with the implementation of the potentiometer.

The files are on the previous posts. to be able to print it in 3D

I also modeled a foot for the moment because you don't have to fix the bottom of the cylinder. Otherwise it will force .

    ok friend

today I put the anti-return diodes. it's perfect. on the other hand, while doing my tests on simtools, I was not good, I cut the signal from the potentiometer but in the process it did not stop in time so it broke. I plan to put everything outside so no more worries, I'm in the process of printing the room already the progress photos..

    @noorbeast and @Antonio1986007 pls! :(
no, for a moment I don't know? power supply burns while it is smc3 utils and motion, the pwmmax is 100 and the motor stops, the power supply has 0v on the terminals. and no load on the engine, I just increased it from 80 to 100 and goodbye power…. Is for test in 24v 20a and burnout! The other alim test in no load 12v 40a work fine.

I don’t understand what to do with the folds, especially since I had the diode and the pond h to supposedly protect….:think

Are you saying a PSU burned out in testing with no load? If so I would suspect a wiring short.

Yes that's it. no short circuit, just increase the pwmmax on smc3 utils from 80 to 100 and with the motion on, and in a slight return hop the power supply is out of order. just before in pwmmax at 80 it worked

To do the tests, I used a 24 volt 20 amp power supply and a 12 volt 40 amp power supply. And H4 was just to see the movements, the 12 volts still works while I went up to 110, but the 24 volts direct, it stopped. I would like to point out that I have no smell of burning anything at all.

no circuit connection because 10 minutes before on simtool and rf2 it worked pwmmax at 80:

so I went back to smc3 utils and put 100 on pwmmax and immediately it stopped

Some PSUs have thermal shutdown protection, has the suspect PSU been tested independent of all wiring?

no I didn't unplug, just turned it off and on again, it was late last night, I'll do it this afternoon. but I don't understand why he stopped? just the quick change of direction and presto it’s the end? Why?

Indeed, I just unplugged everything, the power supply gives me 27 volts. I reconnected everything and it no longer works so either the diode bridge is dead, or it is the I BT card which has released

and reconnect it gives me 0.9v at the power supply terminal

It could be a short or shutdown, you need to figure out which.

Check all wiring and hardware systematically, one by one, something is very wrong.

OK, I removed the Schottky diode and the H bridge and still the same.. so it was the ibt2 which failed. yet it has active cooling on it

Well, I connected it to 12 volts, it went bang, the sound of something clicking with a smell of burning on the Ibt2 ..

    this is the end… :(

plus it wasn't a copy, it was a real Arduino
