Adjustable rigs

    How are people dealing with adjustment of seal/pedal/steering wheel in full frame rigs?

    Obviously getting the centre of balance for the frame is critical but would typically change depending on the user?

    On my static rig i just have a movable seat but that wont work so trying to determine the best alterntlative.

    Im rather tall at 6'5 so my position wont suit most other users

    The tubing slides in and out and the plate is on a pivot.

    Worse thing you can do is by moving the pedals or seat on a full frame sim , seatmover concept moving pedals doesn't change anything but slide seat 10mm forward and now the sim is front heavy and motors will have to work harder in one direction , not good, and this totally screws with the CG point you carefully setup and is key in making a sim move at its best, and the longevity of your controllers and motors as unbalancing the sim will cause unnecessary load at the motor and cause major heat in the H-Bridges.

    Only suggestion I can make if you do build it this way is to maybe place a small counterweight on the rear or front depending on the change to help rebalance the rig, balance is the big thing most people don't get right.
