    Wouldnt it be possible to make something similar like this as DIY?

    Disassembling a normal TFT monitor (take off the bezels) and put them behind some fresnel lenses could make us able to build a similar screen perhaps?

    What do you think?

    I believe it's rear projection though. It's not super thin there is a good bit of depth to it with a crazy short throw lens on the projector. It uses a DLP projector.
