    Hi

in the specs from the Arduino Uno, i have seen that the Uno's has two 8bit timer and one 16bit timer. Various threads and the docu shows in the interface setting in simtools a rsolution from 10 bit.

But it is possible to choose 8bit. What are pros and cons between 8bit and 10bit? Can the Uno work with 10bit?

I think what they are talking about is the ADC of the Uno?
If you use 8 bit's the pot's can detect 256 stop points on your axis, where in 10 bits it can detect 1024 stop points for your axis.
    Hope that helps.
