Does anyone knows if window lifter motors could work for a motion sim?

I was thinking that, I think I could use my hand to be able to stop a wiper from moving in a car (haven't tried cause my brother said I would break it :p), but I did tried stopping a window from going up, and it wasn't easy, I wasn't even able to do it completely because I was afraid I could break the glass. It seems the window lifter motor had quite some torque.

In general, in the same car, which motor would have more torque, the window lifter or the wiper one?

@eaorobbie used them originally with his first sim but they eventually chewed out.
Now he uses motion dynamics motors with great success.
I used to use car wiper motors in the beginning as they were only $10 each, but since spending the $100 per motor from the motion dynamics range, I have never looked back.
One thing you must remember, balance the platform properly and do not reply on springs to help balance or for aesthetic reasons.

@Zack Craken , the wiper motors are fine to start with, but they would not last depending on application.
I used wipers for 2 years and managed to get them to live, but overall, better motors, better motion.
If you dont like that , then go f....... yourself

Thanks for the advice @bsft. In my country wiper motors (or any motor) are not so cheap (like x5 to x20 times what I see online), but since I may be able to get some for free I will probably start with those. Once I get it built and working and get some experience I may invest in quality motors. I'm still in the phase of planning and gathering the components, already got the electronic parts so I will soon start doing some small scale test.
