I'm new to building sim seats, simtools...! but not to racing, design and manufacturing. Started my project about a year ago. welded frame, about 40 deg of pitch and roll, 2 DOF. More if the motors are stronger than expected. Might also add heave if things work out. I went with encoders, kangaroo 2x32 24 volt. Need more than 4 rotations on the motor! Not knowing any better at the time.
This is where I'm at now. Chair and drive is complete, running on the DEScribe software. I don't know enough to programing and simtools software to complete my rig. Searched a bunch of sights with still no understanding of how to finish the setup. Help on how to finish my rig would be great, so close! Did'n think this would be the toughest part of the build. Thanks
