    Hi everyone,

I am working on a project using the DOF Reality P6 rig (pictures for ref). I have been struggling to setup the axis assignment for a while now.

I tried to start with one DOF at a time like heave which should be fairly simple but no matter what I try the result is always roll or sway. The 3 motors on the left always move opposite to the ones on the right. I tried changing the direction in the axis assignment tab but had no luck. I managed to get Roll, Yaw and Sway to work but any longitudinal motion - pitch and surge don't work because the motors don't change directions as <I expect them to.

I have attached some images of my rig and a sketch with the axis names. Any suggestions/tips would be great. I have also tried setting game presets like pCars2 and dirt 3 6dof but this issue remains. No surge, pitch and heave motion.

    Regards.

Ya I have attached my setting below. For now I am using the asseto-6dof preset. But this produces roll instead pitch. No surge and heave either.

The Dir being checked orange or not determines which way an axis moves.

So, presuming the wiring is correct, for heave I would expect all axis are either checked or unchecked, in other words all axis should move up and down in unison, but you have a mixture, where 3 are checked and 3 are unchecked.

So do you suggest checking the wiring again? I did not assemble the rig myself so that could be an issue. I would also expect for heave all the axis being checked or unchecked but that just mixes the motion with roll. Even with my current setting I dont get heave, the axis done move in unison.

Sounds like on some motors the wires are reversed.

Fixed the issue, it was a silly error with the interface settings for the left and right side controller.

    Cheers!
