    Hi guys,

Is there an actual faq document? I am interested in building a 2dof racing rig like many others on here.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks guys. So I have been reading through the faq and have ordered two arduino uno rev3 boards and two mm boards to start with. I figure I would skip the jrk boards for now. I'll start with a 2dof full frame and maybe add heave and-or traction loss if it goes well.

I am talking with a local karting club owner to try and get an old frame and seat.

My problem, like many other users is that I cannot find motors; read as: I have a rough idea of what I need but I need some links to things online. 12v. I am in eastern Canada. I d like worm geared motors if those are best

I already have a wheel, pedals and two computers to use.

Any help for some decent motors online closer to me than Australia would be a great help!

Eastern Canada here with a comfortable level with electronics tinkering and assembly. Want the fun factor of a motion rig.

I'm new in this world of motion sim too. But for start, you may build a prototype with an Arduino and servomotors, and test it with Sim Tools and some plugins. The people here are very friendly, any question don't doubt to ask it.

In Canada your best option would be to contact pgsaw and find out when their next shipment of 25:1 and 50:1 motors arrive. Ignore the $999 price, that is just an out of stock placeholder, they are normally about $90 each: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GEAR-MOTOR-...384?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51bd392f00
