    2DOF
    Hello everyone!

I am from Brazil and this is my 2 DOF motion (DIY).

first I would like to thank the forum, because it was where I got all the information I needed

Sorry for the quality of the photos and my bad English. I Don´t speak or write in English, but i am trying.

I used two computer power supplies, and two 12v motors, and an old office chair served as a seat.

The project is in the final stage, just missing finishes. I used wood for the top, because of the low price in the area where I live. A Loghtech G29 and a psvr glasses (PS4) will be used

Please, could i get a simtools diy license ?

Can you please add some detail like what did you use for a universal joint, what brand are the motors and where did you get them, what control boards and control code is being used, and what PSUs are powering your rig?

    Good morning everybody!

I will try to give more details about the project

    Structure

The structure was created using 40X20MM metal bars and is 1 meter long by 60 centimeters wide. The painting was carried out with spray paint, using primer and varnish

    Universal joint

A universal joint from a mercedes benz truck was used. Bought at a used parts store

    Control Boards
To control the motors I use two H bridges and an arduino.

    Motors
The motors are from the manufacturer TK8 and were purchased at an industrial goods store in my city.

It was necessary to make a change in the motor, to include a 10k potentiometer. The potentiometer will serve as a sensor, identifying the position of the motor through resistance variation. The resistance variation caused by the potentiometer is interpreted by the arduino as the position of the upper platform. In the photos we can see the details

    Power supply
I am currently using two PC power supplies while waiting for a 50A/12v power supply to arrive.

The two supplies run in parallel so there is no shortage of power to the motors (This could cause the power supplies to shut down during use)

The arduino code and the wiring diagram used was found right here on the forum. I lost the file with the code and the wiring diagram when my PC's HD burned out. But I will look for the topic of this forum where I found it and include it here.

This project was carried out about 6 months ago; For a trip I need to pause the construction and I'm resuming it now.

I hope I have contributed to the community. I will continue to supply this forum according to the progress of the project.

I really like your work! I'm looking for information about electronics and its programming. Could you provide me with some information about your project? Thank you very much, my friend! Greetings from Uruguay!

Good morning, which model of potentiometer did you buy, does it have to be with infinite rotation?
