    Hey All,

Seems like I've bricked my DofReality H3 - I was following AM studios Wind simulator project on Youtube and completely missed the fact that my H3 was still plugged in, and uploaded the sketch to the wrong COM port.

I've done a complete re-install of the DofReality drivers (CH341SER) and Simtools, but SMC3 utils reports "Could not establish comms with Arduino SMC3" and Output testing in SimTools has no effect despite both being configured to use the correct COM port.

I've contacted Igor from DofReality but thought I'd check here too to see if anyone's screwed up the same way or could point me in the right direction to un-brick my H3. I'm a total noob when it comes to Arduino programming so please keep any advice at an idiot-proof level, if possible.

    Many thanks!
    Tom

I'm not familiar with dofreality stuff but from what you said it appears you still need a sketch. It sounds like you only installed the boards serial driver but uploading different sketches doesn't bother that. Did the programmer indicate a successful upload of smc3? Did the port # change when your reinstalled drivers?
