    It seems that if you load a profile that does not have sliders after loading a profile that does have sliders, the previous profiles sliders remain on the screen.

    Steps to reproduce
    --------------------
    1. Load profile that contains sliders such as NImas recent rfactor with sliders profile
    2. Load a profile that does not contain sliders via an FSD

    Result
    ---------
    Nimas profile sliders will still be visible, yet do not apply to the prfile
    Slders cwill be shown for effects that are not even in the profile

    Hi Nima,

    I started to examine the profile but had to stop to examine the slider problem. For me, it is a MAJOR problem to have the sliders combined with program settings. Sharing of program settings can cause many problems and shouild not be required in order to use sliders.

    I will need to spend some time devising a way around this problem if this is the desired design by SirNoName. Users should be able to set program settings that are acceptable to their PC, not be forced to take someone else values in order to use sliders.

    After this probelm is solved I will re-evaluate the use of sliders, until then, they will cause more problems than the value they add.

    Hi NIma,

    Not all PC's run well with all timing settings. To use the sliders we are being forced to use timing settings that are optimized for someone elses PC. THis IS a big problem for profile distribution. It is not a problem for you or for me because we know how to make the adjustment, but this is a problem for new users, especially if they have a slow PC.

    In the Commander, I automatically disable progam settings to eliminate the problems that occur when a profile designed on a fast PC is used on a slower PC. This allows the user to find timing settings that work well and not worry about them being overwritten each time they load a profile.

    I want to offer users the ability to use sliders without forcing them to take potentially unstable timing & isolation values for their PC. I will simply add value settings to the Commander for the following:

    SynaptrixTaskPriority=2
    MathTaskPriority=2
    MainTaskPriority=2
    MathPause=2
    SynaptrixPause=2
    holdposition=0
    centerdelay=1
    autohwscan=0
    autoisolate=0
    showmathsliders=1

    When I have completed this, I can begin to examine profiles again.

    Hi Nima,

    I should have the modfications to the Commander and testing completed in an few hours. Once this is done, I can resume the work with the sliders. I look forward to defining a good slider structure also.

    :cheers:
