    Genuine MMs are no longer made, only clones which often have quality control issues, so go with IBT2 in scheme 1.

    Never tried it with a screwdriver motor but expect it should work fine, as long as you also use a pot for positional feedback.

    Hey, mate. I started assembling the electronic part of the rig a couple days ago. For the test I chose windshield wiper motors instead of screwdriver motors. And I bought a 400 watt 33A power supply instead of using a car battery.

    What problems did I encounter?

    The first problem.

    After assembling the electrical system, my motors rotated only in one direction. I tried to find errors in the wiring but never found them. What I did was to reverse the polarity of the motors. But that didn't help either. They just started spinning the other way. I wanted to write about my problem in my thread, but decided to use the search on the site.     By reversing the polarity of the potentiometer on the first motor everything worked fine. But with the second motor, changing the polarity of the potentiometer did not help. More precisely it helped but only after replacing IBT2, it turned out to be defective.

    The second problem.
