    Hi all,

I already read everything i found, read multiple times the manual, and tried imho everything in the filters, but i just cannot get Sway to feel right.

    • I am using the NJMotion 2DOF seat mover.
    • I am using iRacing for testing
    • For testing i only have sway configured with Left-Axis: 65%, Right-Axis: 65%
    • Min/Max i captured in Game about 2.4xxx / - 2.4xxx
    • Profile Intensity 90%
    • no filters
    • using VR
On a smooth track it feels great, going to the corner the seat has a sharp movement to left or right and i can feel the g-forces.
But going to a bumpy track like Nordschleife the seat is shaking like crazy in very small movements (e.g. going down Fuchsröhre).
I tried smoothing and reducing profile intensity, even so they help with the bumpiness it creates a feel of "lag" in the movement, that takes away a lot of immersion.

i hope someone can give me a hint how to setup a nice Sway effect, and if it is even possible or if i should go to Roll instead.

What i think is the problem:
    • going down a bumpy track creates a lot of small sway changes between +0.4 and -0.4
    • the seat is replicating this moves, leading to very short but fast left right movements that are very intense.
    • When sway is the amount of G-Force it should correlate to movement speed of the seat not to Angle. But i dont know if this is achievable.

As it is a bit of a brainf*ck, i hove someone can help me with some insights and tipps ;)

    Cheers
    D

Sounds like you need to adjust the Max/Min value for Sway.
(You will want to make the number bigger to make them less twitchy)
