    Hi guys, I am interested in buying a car race sim rig. I found online the 3dof race simulator from dof reality, but I am also in love with the 4 dof racecube. The problem of the 4 dof is the price :-(

    Do you if is worth a 4 dof car racing simulator and if there is anything more affordable for 4 dof or if it is better to stick with a 3 dof ?

    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF
    Number of DoFs is not correlated to the price or performance in terms of racing car simulator.

    D-box kit is 3dof but can cost you over $17k. The CXC 2dof costs you $60k. I bought several commerical simulators for racing only (both seat mover and frame mover). They are all in common as:
    1) HW: using geared motors or using Actuators;
    2) SW: using SimTool or in house own SW.

    I sent you a PM for my experiences.

    Best luck.

    Hi there ! Thank you for the dm!

    SimXperience 3 is too big for my space :(

    I need something that is not bigger than the dimensions of a

    Racing cube 4dof

    Or the

    Dofreality

    It has to be compact

    Thank you, but I really think you should create a YouTube channel and post some videos of the platform in action with Simtools. Create a dedicated thread for your simulator and post there the videos and details on the hardware. People need to see that anything is possible with these great servo actuators...
