    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF
I am working on a university research project focused on the driver aggression in consumer vehicles. As part of our research we use a NADS minisim (I would put some links here, but I haven't posted enough in the forum yet) and we are interested in implementing a 2 DoF motion base for it. We don't have the time or the experience to feel comfortable building a DIY rig so we would like to purchase one. We have looked at many options and have narrowed it down to the Dynamic Kit and the ProSimu Simulator T1000. Dynamic kit uses two geared motors mounted underneath and the Simulator 1000 uses two SCN 5's mounted in front facing downward. Does anyone have a recommendation on which is better? One of the main concerns I have heard about the Simulator 1000 is that it doesn't give as much motion as a traditional seat shaker, but we are thinking that this wouldn't be a concern for us as we are attempting to simulate a consumer car rather than a racing vehicle. We have also looked at the ProSimu Simulator TWO and the SimXperience Stage 1, but we couldn't see any clear advantage those systems gave us for the increase in price.
