    Hello all,

We are still going strong here at Georgia Southern with out simulator project and are here for more insight.

Does anyone in this do their own wiring? We are looking up what gauge wire, crimpers, etc. are very handy for DIY projects involving this type of rig.

For those who did not see my older thread about a month or so ago, we are making a full size simulation rig that will house a car on a moving platform and the "driver" will be inside the car while its articulating about, too keep it simple.

We have our software picked out, will use SimTools with a custom built computer and have three 40" screens for the "virtual reality" aspect of the racing game, which will be iRacing.

    Any insight will be appreciated!

    Justin

think about the diameter of the wire you need to use - power wires will need to be thick, signal wires can be thin

you can terminate them how you like - ring connectors are good for power
