I plan to buy a H3 in early May but I'm a little concerned about the 1300 Watt power supply and what effect this will have on my electricity bill.
In your experience how often do motion rigs run at peak power, ie 75% of the time, 50% etc?

    Thanks.

The power use will depend on a bunch of factors, the current the motors draw, how well balanced or not the rig is, the mass of the user and peripherals, and if it is primarily a race or flight sim rig.

Perhaps the manufacturer could give some idea, but in reality it would likely be highly variable.

I'm guessing it will use more power as a car sim because it is moving around more (I'm a sim racer) luckily I use VR so there's no monitor to attach.
Is it better or worse to use 240V as we do it the UK rather than the American 120V?
As you can probably tell, I know bugger all about electrics.

Use you standard house voltage, with suitable PSU, we also use 240v in Australia.
