Hello Everyone. My name is Miguel and I am from upstate New York in the USA. I am new to the forum and fairly new to simulators. I am currently a volunteer for my local not for profit, children’s Aerosciences museum and they own a Doron SRV. The machine has one cartoon video on it and I have been researching for a few weeks on how to help them update this awesome resource. Until now, they have had a contract with the manufacturer for service and licensing which has cost them a fortune but has given them nothing in return. The company has never done any of the yearly services they were paid to do and have never upgraded or provided new content. Finding information or new simulations for the ride have been fruitless. Does anyone have a contact or more information on how to get more “rides” programmed in? The museum has terminated their contract and I am trying to help them source new help. Thanks in advance.

The Doron website claims "A comprehensive user’s guide is made available with each simulator system. With details on each function and feature of the system, it serves as a convenient reference for customers’ instructors".

And "There is no charge for necessary on-site support during the warranty/ service period and any following period covered by a service agreement. Our service personnel are located in close congruence with customer sites to provide high quality, cost-effective service".

So if a service agreement has not been kept you probably need a legal rather than technical solution.

Other than that taking control of a commercial rig depends on the hardware and related licensing, so more would need to be known about both.
