    Hello everybody!

I'm Douglas, I'm Brazilian and a big fan of DIY projects, I've already faced a lot of cool projects in the area of robotics, pinballs and even electric vehicles, I'm a real fan of arcades and I've been building for a long time...
For about 4 months I've been building a simulator to play ETS2 and Project Car, among other racing titles.
But I'm very interested in ETS2, I'm building it using the chassis of an old SEGA F355 Challenger arcade, where I'm including 1 console panel from a FORD Fusion 2007, a real instrument panel from a Citroen C4 Lounge among other adaptations... I'm using 3 monitors 31.5 inches AOC curved screen 175ms and as VGA an RTX3060 12GB.

I'm building my motion base with 30x30mm square tubes, a FORD Scorte steering joint and GM Vectra windshield wiper motors, all Brazilian vehicles, where I got these parts at vintage car scrap shops.

I try to get a license to be able to use the community's software, I hope I can be worthy of this award.

Thank you to everyone who read and I am available to talk to anyone who wants to and exchange experiences..

May the force be with you!

Below are some pictures of my project.

Nice job and thanks for sharing your rig :thumbs

I am curious to what motors, control hardware and PSUs you have used?

With respect to a free DIY license there is an eligibility criteria, part of which is duration of membership:

To qualify for a free license:

    • You must be building a true DIY motion simulator. (Not built from a kit or purchased from a simulator seller, a model simulator does not qualify.)
    • Have a unique build thread or Showcase in DIY Simulator Projects. (The thread should show some effort, which means it should show progress to the testing phase.)
    • Have been a member of the community for at least 30 days.

Please apply once all criteria are met: https://www.xsimulator.net/request-diy-key-simtools/
