Has anyone rigged up a motor to vibrate at the same rpm as an engine

So you get a very realistic feedback of the vibration vs rpm

It could be done with 4 out of balance weights on a motor so the motor only has to rev to 1/4 of the engine speed

It will need a closed loop control system where motor rpm is monitored and engine rpm is transmitted

I suppose the question is - is it worth the effort ?
