If I need to limit something I do it in the Game Manager and you can create refined profiles there that are tweaked for certain cars/tracks via the Profile Editor.

So instead of a lot of Axis Limiting try tweaking the Tuning Center profile to get the best generic settings for different types of cars. For example I use the Cobra, Corvette and Williams FW31 in Assetto Corsa to sort the Tuning Center values. Then you can create specific profiles in the Game Manager for each of those cars and tweak the settings even further to get it spot on for that vehicle, including car/track specific Main Level % allocations that are just below the threshold of triggering a drop out in a big crash.

It takes time but is well worth the effort to have refined settings.
