Hi, this is my first post in this community and wish all the best for all of you in 2011.

I am from Brazil and want to assembly my own motion racing cockpit. Reading the topics, I could realize I cannot use a motion simulator with PS3 F1/GT5.. It is a pity because the graphics are so realistics in my opinion. Anyway, that will be my project for the first half of 2011 and would appreciate a help from you guys. I won't have problems (I hope so!) with the mechanicals but will find some difficulties with the electronics. Although I have some experience with that, I have no idea what to buy and could not find a tutorial or threads about the electronics.

I am planning to assembly something like the link below.

Any links, threads or tips about the 2DOF electronics would be much apreciated! I know they are over here but really couldn't find any. Apologies, for that.
I am looking forward to show my cockpit very soon in this community!

    Thank you!

Did you even look? :D There is a whole section in the forum called: X-Sim compatible hardware - x-sim-compatible-hardware-f25.html

I would recommend these threads to start with:
    - K8055 - Dual Wiper Motor Control with Variable Speed
    - Pololu Jrk 12v12

You can also use the Search the site text box on the menu.

Yes, I did and I am sure there is a lot of material about it, but as a newbie, everything is still complex for me. I am still kinda of blind... The link you gave me will be my starting point and certainly will be very helpfull!! Thank you for that!

I will search for those threads you recommended - tks again!
