    Hello. My name is Fran.
First I apologize for the translation, I don't know much English. I also don't know if this is the correct thread for this topic.

I built my 2 dof a long time ago thanks to your tutorials and everything worked perfectly.
A year ago I stopped using it and now that I wanted to go back I have a problem with smc3, I don't know if it could be due to some update but it's like it doesn't work with Arduino. Let me explain, I manually touch the hall sensors and my motors move correctly but no movement appears in the smc3 utilities.

Can you please post pictures of all of your SMC3 settings.

Can you also check that SMC3 is set to the correct port for the Arduino.

I had to change to com6 and now smc3 works fine. but I always had it in com5.
Now I have started installing and configuring simtools again because it doesn't work well either.
Is there any difference with previous versions?

Great you got the ports sorted :thumbs

Do you mean is there differences between SimTools v2 versions, if so always use the latest version.

Or do you mean is there differences between SimTools v2 and v3 Beta? If so then yes, v3 integrates the interface to simplify usage, introduces the new built in plugin repository and has some performance improvements: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-v3-public-beta.17329/

The SimTools v3 manual is in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-v3.401/

You can install SimTools v2 and v3 on the same PC, and use the same license key for both.

Sorry, I mean in the simtools game engine interface settings, I will also have to put the com6 port in this case and the rest everything remains the same as in previous versions.

    Many thanks for everything.
