I know I'm going to use the wrong terminology but here it goes:

    My setup:
    SimforceGT Style 2DOF using SCN5 (100mm)

I've made a motion profile for FSX. The problem lies when performing a slow bank (or any other slow G-force transitions) the actuators move in a very jerky motion. The only way to minimize this is to slow the actuators down to Speed-18000 Acceleration-15. This makes the slow transitions better, but for quick G's (like carrier takeoff and landing bounces) it all but filters them out.

The only thing I can think of is that the FSUIPC plugin's polling (or update, not sure of the terminology here) speed is too slow. Is this in fact the case? If it is, can it be changed?

I've tried updating to the newst FSUIPC and looking through all the options, but have found nothing about this.

    Any ideas are welcome :)

You could try to add smoothness to the bank effect while keeping the SCN5 accelleraton on a level that fits for carrier take off accell simulation.

Though I have to admit, that adding smoothness did not worked well for me. At least for car accell g-forces (I dont like kick-in-the-back feeling while shifting).

Maybe it works better for bank effects. Try it...

Imho it would be best to be able to adjust SCN5 speed and accell for each effect seperately.

But no support from Sirnoname on this one so far. Dont know if it is possible anyway...

    regards

Btw, depending on your hardware performance you are able to speed up the Force-Sender output.

Default is 50ms afaik. Not that fast...try 10ms, or faster if your hardware can handle it.

    regards

I'm not sure what you mean by this. What math plugin would I use for this?

I really like the idea of this feature! It would be great for racing simulations......but for this exact problem, I really think this is just a Band-aid (cover-up) for the real problem that the plugin is not updating fast enough. Otherwise, it seems to me that I would experience these jerks in the racing simulations I use as well.

Well, I have to believe that this is set correctly on my machine as I do not have the same problems on any racing games. I will try to experiment with it though.
