    G'day,

I was going gangbusters then things came unstuck...

Had Simtools version 2.1 on windows 7 talking across two pc's fine, doing minor tweaks for my g-seat when the motherboard decided it wasn't goint to work anymore. Grabbed a new gen7 intel i7 motherboard and carried the hard disk drive over. Windows 7 complained about not being supported any longer with new gen7 cpu. So extorted into upgrading to Windows 10 to get support. After fixing all the other programs license breaks I get to Simtools. I had purchased a DIY license at the start of the year.

I cannot get GM to connect to GE over the network now.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled to the default directory and to C:. Windows defender firewall asks to allow the simtools program which I do to pass it over the network.

I register the program with the the key issued before the mb change but the DIY color block stays pink.

Not sure how to proceed from here...

1st PC running Game Manager was set to 2nd PC's IP that was running Game Engine.
2nd PC running Game Engine WAS NOT SET to 1st PC running Game Manager.

2nd PC running Game Engine -> Tools -> Game Engine Tools; Engine Settings; MANAGE IP!!!
Set IP to 1st PC running Game Manager and instant connect. Very happy now.

I know that the documentation is a work in progress but this detail should be emphasised when doing an install on two PC's before even starting motion settings.
