How to connect multiple Arduinos for multiple motor controllers and get accurate telemetry.

How does it splice it all together?
    Dedicated hex?
    Specific protocol through each interface?
If/ would a mega 2560 work? Pwm lineouts?
    I
Tried using one power supply for all 3 motors- it did not work

To get an idea of how it all works grab the SimTools v2 manual and have a read: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

Check out how telemetry can be built into a new game: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...ry-output-into-a-game-unity-and-ue4-code.287/

And the various ways telemetry may be extracted from existing games, depending on how they are built, to create motion plugins: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...lugin-for-simtools-2-0-api-documentation.131/

There is a more generic approach for when a plugin does not exist, and that is to use the existing Joystick plugin, which can be extended via Vjoy: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...otion-plugin-and-vjoy-controller-mapping.387/

Thank you, I know this will help.
Why does it say download not available?

I presume you mean plugin access.

For SimTools v2 plugin access is via forum activity coils or paid membership: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-and-how-to-download-plugins.2/

For SimTools v3, currently in open Beta testing, plugin access is built into the licensed version via the new integrated plugin repository system.

I'm running V1 at the moment, I have downloaded 2 and V3 but not ready to initialise.
    Is V1 still available?
    That is the plugin.
    Do you have a link?

SimTools 1.3 has long been obsolete and none of the plugins for it have been maintained in many years, so if that is what you mean the best advice I can give is don't use it.

At this point I just want to download another plugin besides LFS , I have 29 coins.
Thank you, I will look again on Monday.

My main goal is to sell 4 motion simulators to a local arcade with licence package.
Realising that the legalities and responsibilities must be followed. I'm not ready yet and finance is not arranged. Monday is on the way.

That being the case, as there is commercial intent this thread will be moved to the Commercial thread section: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/potential-commercial-related-use-of-prototypes.173/

SimTools has annual licensing for arcade commercial type use: https://simtools.us/licenses/
