    My Motion Simulator:
    Arduino
I am trying to help a colleague understand how motion simulators work. I know all about things like actuators, servos, feedback sensor, especially managed by Arduinos.

Now it is time for me to understand how someone who has a movie, like a roller coaster ride, can translate that movie into axis movements. Maybe there is software that views the movie and outputs axis movements, but that sounds very complex. Is there such software; something that inputs a movie and outputs axis actions?

Is there someone who is willing to take the time to explain the process? Maybe I can then teach my friend.

Thanks, in advance, for any help.
