I find the other file <motion enabled=true ip=127.0.0.1 port=4123 delay=1 extradata=0 /> I changed but now when start Grid it crash and don't let me play, even with the X-sim program off so some problem with the configuration.

    Re: Yoda Scanner

Yes i heard also from other people that have some problems with the motion function, and as codemasters in the readme file say'd: it is an untested function, they dont give a suport for the motion function. But - be shure now you have found the right config file.
did you changed the first file back to original (Motion false)? Do you have a chance to test if it works with an original version?

If we spend our free time to help you, you should spend at least some seconds, to inform us about that, without a special request from us^^

Btw, which OS are you using?

    Re: Yoda Scanner

Is there a firewall blocking the port 4123? Though I am not sure, if that could cause a game freeze...

When motion is enabled, then GRID does send data.
That may cause a firewall or an antivirus software making trouble. I have red, that the Kasperski AV software blocks GRID and DIRT.

Re: Neuer Beitrag GRID - freeze when motion is enabled

Grid does not start at all, when motion is enabled in the config file, it freezes right when he clicks the Grid.exe.

There has been guys who could get rid of the freezes by turning off the audio hardware accelleration. But it does not work for everyone. But you should try it at least...
