    Thanks for sharing  !
But please let me know one thing: Does Grid crash after the race when the motion part is enabled ? If not - please keep me informed on your settings in the reg. ini file !
Maybe there's some patch available !? My version (original DVD) crashes after every race when the game should return to the main menu - this bug occurs since I changed the settings in the motion part from false to true (as described in the X-Sim manual). Do you know anything about this ?

    Bye,
    Chris

That problem exist from very first moment when we have got it works with x-sim. It still looks like we have to wait for patch 1.3 which will change a lot in the support for motion systems.

I thought, Grid would use the same engine like Dirt - but with Dirt everything is okay... I'm using it with X-Sim and the Game doesn't crash...

Okay, we have to wait for patch 1.3 - hopefully it will come before Grid 2 will be released... :D !
By the way: Did you give NfS Shift with X-Sim a try ?

    Regards,
    Chris

Patch 1.3 will be as an upgrade to the game - called 8 Ball DLC. Few new tracks and extra cars (Nissan G-TR for example). Thats why it is going so slow and do not expect any progress before Dirt 2. AMD/ATI paid them a lots of money to finish that game as soon as they can - because of support for theirs Direct X 11 card.

NFS: Shift is actually my nightmare because of constant crash problem (not because of bad drive). Patch again needed - lots of people have that on their system and EA working on solution. With support for X-Sim i thought that will be quick story to get that. This game was created wit special code for it. D-Box paid for that, probably thats why people from EA won`t share with any information about motion date - for now. As soon as i get this game works properly i will give it a try with cheat engine & force injector.

As a add to the Grid profile i wanna suggest to not using: Speed / Acceleration Values: Actuator Speed:22500 / Actuator Acceleration:700. This is going to be as a crazy drive for Burnout Paradise for example not for something what is closer to proper simulation. I gave this on my setup: Actuator Speed:12000 / Actuator Acceleration:500.

Funny thing: it is something what i can not track on X-Sim setup. When i have the right SCN5 setup and start game it is going to be somehow adjusted to lower value on speed and acceleration. Thats why i have to switch this back when game is running and after that everything works fine.

Thats why - just double check yours setup after start any game.

I`ve test new patch 1.3 on my system and it looks like - It doesn`t changed anything (or not much). I have same problems like with 1.2 version.
Did someone noticed any improvements. Maybe that is only preparation before DLC pack (mentioned : - Added support for additional content packs.). Definitely they added SecuROM in this patch thats why it will be required for DLC.
