Hi everyone found this forum from googling about and could use some help please so the story,

I bought a lot from an auction, I was after some poster boards that were in it, anyway when I picked the lot up imagine my surprise when there was a heavy black box with two wheels on it that looked like a tv stand with big red button box attached.

Now imagine my massive surprise when after a lot of googling I finally found out it is an ATOMIC A3 motion system base.

I have plugged it in and switched it on so it seems to be working (glowing light) but it is literally just the base no seat no pedals no cables (other than the big red button box attached). its got ports on the back USB 2.0, DMX IN/OUT etc.

So my questions what have I got,
Is this just a glorified ornament with a light,
Is this something that can be added to I.E the seat, pedals ect and what a rough cost would be and is it only parts from the manufacturer.
And lastly is this something that can be sold on as it is.

Thanks very much for looking and apologies for my completely ignorant questions, I'm an Xbox guy and I have never looked at simulator systems in my life and this is well out of my scope so any help is much appreciated.

My understanding is that you can utilise SimTools, but you must use Atomic's SIMPHYNITY software to do so: http://www.atomicmotionsystems.com/?page_id=10798

Perhaps Atomic can advise on related component costs.

You can always put something up for sale to judge interest.
