hi, i'm using RC servos i built into my chair that pushes on my back for acceleration G's etc.
They move kinda jerky at times and i am wondering if there is a way i can smooth them out in the .Lua file or maybe a setting in Simtools?

SimTools has a whole raft of settings, plus filters. It would help if you posted pictures of all your current settings.

while i have the above settings, i think the issue is that the response is so fast that it produces a non-smooth feeling. I was thinking that maybe i can change the .lua file to average out the samples it gets.
or maybe there is somthing i'm doing wrong in the simtools???

So far you only have heave set, and have allocated the entire axis range to it. You can also configure Roll and Pitch as well as Surge, andSway, please see the FAQ motion profile tuning tips: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

For now, to smooth out heave Capture the Max/Min values while flying in game, save the values, then tweak from there. But really one axis should not have the total allocation.

yes i know i only have heave set, i had all the others set but trying to eliminate overlap i drilled down to only heave to try and figure out how to get a filter going.

can you go through the logic here? i'm under the impression there really isn't a simple way to smooth things out? i know that i can just take multiple samples in the .lua file and then average them out over time will acomplish this but again i was hoping for a easy "check this" to enable it.

Capturing the Max/Min should at least get a sane start point to then tweak from.

The higher the Max/Min setting the smoother the response, over a larger axis range.
