Question How is the MaxMin.cfg values calculated?

    I need to adjust the max min values of my axis for the sending value of the sim application. My axis is zeroed mechanically and electrically to the middle of travel as a standard start point for all applications as shown in the range values.

    I have a max value of 2.5 and a min value of -0.5 that I need for full scale deflection motion. I add these values to the maxmin.cfg file for the axis. Does SimTools calculate the FSD as per A or B? For A where the zero point stays in the middle or B where the zero point is offset.

    Unfortunately the post only mentioned full scale ranges, not what happens in between. Only yobuddy could answer this I think since he wrote the coding.

    Thanks yobuddy, that explains a few things. Now that I understand what is going on I can adjust using software with the max min range to suit then offset the zero point.
